Hollywood Weekly AI Connect — Pilot Privacy & Advertising Notice
Last updated: October 16, 2026. This notice describes the Hollywood Weekly AI Connect pilot’s advertiser inquiry form and proposed chat service. It supplements, and does not replace, other policies that may apply to the Hollywood Weekly website.
Advertiser inquiries
If you submit an AI Connect sponsorship inquiry, Hollywood Weekly collects the company or project name, contact name, business email address, optional website, advertising category, desired package, and the objectives you choose to provide. Submission requires your consent to receive a response about the inquiry. The form is not a payment form or a reservation of advertising inventory.
The pilot’s form is configured to save inquiries as nonpublic WordPress administration records and to email the submitted details to Hollywood Weekly at hollywoodpublisher@gmail.com. Website hosting and email service providers necessarily process information to deliver these functions. The form has basic anti-spam and rate-limit controls. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal information, or confidential project material.
Chat service and analytics
The public demonstration currently uses scripted examples only; it does not transmit chat questions to an AI model. The separate live-AI service is not yet activated. If that service launches, questions will be sent to an external AI provider for a response; the pilot code is configured not to store chat transcripts in its own WordPress database. Hosting, security and ordinary website analytics systems may separately maintain technical request information.
If paid sponsor cards are activated in the future, the pilot is configured to count sponsor-card delivery and clicks at the campaign level. These are preliminary technical metrics, not independently audited human impressions. Sponsored placements will be marked as advertisements and displayed separately from the informational chat response.
Questions, corrections and deletion requests
To ask about an AI Connect inquiry, correct submitted information, or request deletion of an inquiry record, contact hollywoodpublisher@gmail.com. Include the business email used for the original submission to help locate the record. Deletion may be subject to applicable legal or accounting requirements.
This pilot notice may be revised as AI processing, billing, or advertiser reporting features change. Hollywood Weekly should review all public-facing legal terms before a paid launch.
