Crew & production careers

Looking for grip, lighting, wardrobe, makeup, production office or post-production work? Start with the California Film Commission’s employment resource directory, then follow the employer’s application route. Check location, experience, union status where applicable, compensation and dates before applying.

Use a production lead: research the company’s official website, look for a public crew application route, and send a concise résumé and availability only through an appropriate channel. Source checked October 18, 2026.

Twelve projects to research from the California Film Commission’s approved-project list. Status for all entries: tax-credit allocation announced.
