Black Doves Season 2 Netflix release date and episode count
Netflix’s premiere guide confirms the return of the series, and its filming locations guide confirms the six-episode count. There is no weekly wait between episodes. Returning viewers can select the second season on the series page; newcomers should begin with Season 1, where the show establishes why Helen trusts Sam more than many of the people she works with.
Joe Barton returns as creator, writer and executive producer. Julian Farino and Kieron Hawkes direct the new season. The guide below covers the setup and casting, without revealing how the new investigation ends.

In Season 2, Wallace’s rise to prime minister makes Helen’s public role harder to separate from her covert one. Then Reed’s position inside the Black Doves comes under threat, and Helen and Sam have to work together again. Sarah Lancashire and Andrew Buchan return as Reed and Wallace, respectively.
One thing worth remembering before pressing play: the Black Doves do not simply work for the British government. They sell intelligence. Helen’s access to government business is what makes her useful to them, and what makes the arrangement dangerous for the people closest to her.
Who joins the Black Doves Season 2 cast?
Netflix’s cast guide introduces Neve Campbell as Cecile Mason, a U.S. defense envoy whose work puts her in the Webbs’ political orbit. Ambika Mod plays Laila Joshi, another operative, while Babou Ceesay plays Mr. Conteh, a senior executive inside the Black
