Comic-Con 2027 Badge Registration Dates and Buying Guide

Comic-Con 2027 badge sales begin October 17 for eligible returning attendees. Review dates, eligibility, queue times, prices and buying steps.

Comic-Con 2027 badge registration dates are now set, and the first sale arrives October 17. Returning attendees have the earliest opportunity to buy admission for next summer’s San Diego event, while the general public gets a separate sale in November. Here is the verified schedule and the practical preparation that matters before the virtual queue opens.

Comic-Con 2027 badge registration dates

Comic-Con 2027 is scheduled for July 22–25 at the San Diego Convention Center, with Preview Night on July 21. The official Comic-Con badge page lists Returning Registration for Saturday, October 17, 2026. Open Registration, which includes first-time attendees, follows on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

Returning Registration is limited to people who purchased a Comic-Con 2026 attendee badge and did not receive a refund. First-time attendees, press, professionals, exhibitors, volunteers and several other credential categories are not eligible for this first sale. Anyone planning for Open Registration needs a valid, confirmed Comic-Con Member ID, and every person receiving a purchased badge needs an individual account.

How the October 17 returning-attendee sale works

The official Comic-Con 2027 Returning Registration guide says the Queue-it waiting room opens at 7:30 a.m. PDT and the sale begins at 9 a.m. PDT. Eligible attendees must enter before 9 a.m. to join the randomized queue. Arriving at 7:30 does not improve a person’s position, and entry does not guarantee a purchase session.

Selected buyers receive 15 minutes to complete an order. One person may purchase for as many as three eligible members, including or excluding the buyer. For each additional attendee, have the exact Member ID, last name and desired days ready. Badges are not transferable, so a buyer cannot place another person’s admission under the buyer’s account and move it later.

Before sale day, verify the eligibility notice inside the Member ID dashboard, confirm the account email, test the password and save an accepted credit card if desired. Comic-Con advises using one current browser on one computer, with cookies and JavaScript enabled. Its official preparation checklist recommends avoiding VPNs, privacy relays, manual refreshing and mobile devices because they can interfere with the waiting-room experience.

Comic-Con 2027 badge prices and Preview Night

Adult daily badges are listed at $88 for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and $67 for Sunday. Preview Night costs $67, but it is not sold separately: buyers must also purchase all four daily badges. A $15 handling fee applies per member.

Reduced rates apply to juniors ages 13–17, active-duty U.S. military members with identification, and seniors age 60 or older. Children 12 and under may attend free with a paying adult under Comic-Con’s child badge policy. Inventory can disappear during checkout, so buyers should decide in advance which alternate days they will accept.

Comic-Con accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for badge orders; PayPal is not accepted. The site says payments are generally processed within 72 hours after the sale rather than immediately at checkout. Buyers should monitor the email attached to their Member ID account and later check account notifications for any balance issue, because an unresolved payment can place the badges at risk of cancellation.

What entertainment fans can expect

Comic-Con programming spans movies, television, comics, gaming, animation, cosplay and creator-focused events. Badge registration secures admission, not access to every panel or special activity, so attendees should watch official announcements as the 2027 schedule develops.
