Lupin Part 4 Netflix Release Date, Episodes and Cast
Omar Sy returns October 23, 2026, with eight new episodes. Here are the confirmed cast, copycat-heist setup and a clearly marked Part 3 refresher.
The Lupin Part 4 Netflix release date is October 23, 2026, bringing Omar Sy’s Assane Diop back to screens with eight new episodes. The return is listed in Netflix’s October calendar, making this week a useful moment to revisit the relationships and unfinished business behind the heists.
The new installment begins four years after Part 3. Below are the confirmed release details, announced cast and setup, followed by a brief refresher that contains spoilers for earlier episodes.
Lupin Part 4 Netflix release date and episodes
Netflix’s Part 4 announcement says all eight episodes arrive October 23. The same page hosts the official trailer and first-look material. This is a full-season release announcement, rather than a schedule of one new episode each week.
Netflix uses “Part 4” for the installment. When searching for the new episodes, use that label alongside the series title so that older trailers and recaps do not get mixed into your results.
Who is in the Lupin Part 4 cast?
Sy returns as Assane. Netflix’s announced lineup also includes Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard. That is the published cast list, not a promise that every character from earlier installments returns.
The series is created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan, with participation from Marie Roussin, Florent Meyer and Tigran Rosine. Netflix identifies Sy and Louis Leterrier as showrunners, and Gaumont as producer in collaboration with Carrousel Studios. The inspiration remains Maurice Leblanc’s literary character Arsène Lupin.
A copycat challenges Assane’s identity
The official Netflix Media Center synopsis places Assane in prison at the beginning of Part 4. He intends to finish his sentence and honor a promise to his son by joining their family in Senegal.
That plan changes when someone using the Lupin name announces coordinated museum robberies. The thefts succeed despite increased security, and evidence appears to implicate Assane. A recording even places him at a museum during a robbery in which Captain Belkacem is badly hurt.
Netflix’s setup sends Assane back into action to clear his name and expose the imitator. The central question is therefore different from simply whether a thief can steal something valuable: who controls the identity that Assane has built, and who suffers when someone else uses it?
Part 3 refresher: spoilers ahead
Netflix’s Part 3 ending explainer recalls Assane’s Black Pearl theft, his staged death and the danger surrounding his mother, Mariama. His efforts to disappear do not free the people close to him from the consequences of his criminal life.
Ultimately, Assane agrees to surrender after helping police reach Keller. He negotiates Benjamin’s release and a chance to explain his decision to Claire. The installment ends with him incarcerated, supplied with Arsène Lupin books.
The final prison reveal also reconnects him with Hubert Pellegrini. Returning viewers may want to revisit that ending before opening Part 4. New viewers who prefer discovering the reversals firsthand can start with Parts 1–3 instead of reading detailed summaries.
