Monalisa Okojie is an Ishan Princess from Eguare, Irrua in Edo State, Nigeria. She recognized early in life that she was a privileged individual, receiving an education in a country where a secondary education for women is not that easy. She was born in and attended a private school in Lagos, and a Girls College in Calabar. She obtained her law degree from the University of Ekpoma and Barrister at Law from NLS Lagos.
